Hi Mark and K.C.,

Your absolute best source of printed matter is the Vintage Airstream Club (see the site-link) and ask for their list of reprints which should clarify many of your concerns. We got loads of material from them. The absolutely best personal resource is the team of Bud and Bettye Cooper, founders of the VAC, owners of a beautiful little '63 Bambi, world travelers and technically gifted. Bud is a retired engineer and thinks through a problem, draws a solution and describes in text, how to fix it. In any event, join the VAC as a full-up member or friend. We are in the planning stages for a Vintage Rally in the mountains of western North Carolina in Nov '99.

Best regards and welcome to the Vintage world,

Gary and Sandi WBCCI 9362

P.S. The fresh water tank is up front, under the couch, the black water tank is at the back, under the potty and extending under the fridge.

We just bought a 1963 Bambi. We feel like archeologists in regard to our efforts to discover what a Bambi is and how to operate it. Having never owned a trailer before we don't know a water tank from a holding tank. The best info we have been able to find is a general info book on 1964 airstreams. It seems that many of the systems and cetainly the plans changed from 1963 to 1964.

Does any one have a 1963 Bambi owners manual for sale or to copy.

Thanks,

Mark and K.C.

Warm regards,
