Here is one way to get insurance on a Vintage unit. Ask a dealer for a "Statement of Value". See what that amounts to. Then ask knowledgeable Vintage Airstream owners for a "Statement of Value". Start comparing and when you feel comfortable with that value, take it to a couple of insurance agents and get a price. Worked for me several times.

We are Janet and Jack with a question about insurance on an Airstream.

Last year we did some comparison shopping and were a bit confused when the agents said that since the trailer was of the vintage category, it had practically no value as far as insurance companies are concerned. Has anyone had any experience with this situation?
