Melissa,
Sorry your oven and heater aren't working. With two new bottles my question is were they PROPERLY PURGED? If the bottles were not properly purged this might be the problem. If this is not the problem and the appliances haven't been used for a while it might just be a little rust in the orfices. This would be an inexpensive(or free) problem to fix. I always like to think simple at first. If this doesn't work then it would be a more involved repair. If you do end up heating a bit with the stove you need to be very careful to get plenty of fresh air into the unit for safety reasons. If you have 110 power the electric disc heater as previously mentioned would do an excellent job. I use one of these myself when I have free power.
Hope that you have an enjoyable and safe trip. It's fun traveling with a "Stream!

We have been enjoying the list for a couple of weeks now. We are the proud owners of a 1963 Safari, which we are about to pull to the San Francisco area from New England via Florida. It will be our maiden voyage in an RV with a bathroom. (Our last trip was made in a 1968 Dodge postal van camper conversion...10mpg)
Unfortunately we found out today after having to get the out of date gas tanks replaced, neither the heater or the oven in our 'stream work. I guess if we get to cold, well hover around the stove burners that do work, and/or cover ourselves with our Labrador Retrievers.
Any other creative heating ideas would be appreciated.
The list is great...we'll be checking in as our trip progresses.
