I do a lot of travelling by myself, and have a Cobra in my van, as well as a handheld that I keep in the trailer.

I got the Cobra in my van from the Cobra outlet store online. I think it was about $30, picks up NOAA weather and 40 regular CB channels. I've used it a lot over the last year or so and would never travel again without having one, particularly when pulling the trailer.
