I just did a quick look over on www.arrl.org and the correct title that I was thinking of is indeed "Now You're Talking". They get about nineteen bucks for it. Radio Shack would save you the shipping charges, if you could locate a copy there.

Well, folks have been doing 9600 for a long long time now, both terrestrially and via Amateur Satellite Service birds. So that may be what the other fellow was thinking of when he mentioned "9600".
