Last year I just drained my trailer and used compressed air to blow out the water then, poured a bit of antifreeze down the traps.

You didn't put it in the fresh water tank? Or the black & grey tanks?

I don't have a grey water tank. The black tank got some of what I poured down the toilet. The fresh water tank went unprotected, but it hadn't been used and was bone dry as far as I could tell.

The manual says only to flush and drain the black tank. No mention of fresh water tank (Except to open the 5 drain valves, which includes the fresh water tank).

The question remains: When did we start thinking we needed to embalm the plumbing instead of just draining and blowing it out? I did the ritual, but am unsure I did it!
