Sherry,

I am also a newbie to the Airstream discussion list, mostly lurk. I have been following with interest your problems with your neighbors, however, I cannot help you with that particular problem. The first part of your message advising us of the purchase of your Airstream and what needs to be done to it------------maybe I can help you there. I am "updating" (sorry purists) not renovating a 1973 Argosy 26, getting it ready for fulltiming next spring.

I belong to another discussion list and mentioned the cost of replacing everything in the trailer, the water heater and the water pump were the only parts usable. One of the people on the list sent me the following list of RV salvage/surplus warehouses or yards. Hopefully it will be of some use to you.

I checked out two of the places, the prices sounded reasonable to me. The big problem is the shipping/packing cost but if you are close to one of them possibly you can go and pick out and pick up what you need. Good luck.

Oh, by the way, the title "This Old Trailer" is what I use when I send out an update to my internet friends on the progress on my trailer. Feel free to use it here. I for one am interested in your progress and how you are getting along.

Good luck with the renovation and good luck with the neighbors.

I agree with a prior post, "someone who loves dogs and airstreams got to be good people."
