Roy,

Regarding your tail light rings for your '56 Bubble.

Jim - JUST finished a pair of OUTER TAIL LIGHTS RINGS for a 1957 Bubble. And they are BEAUTIFUL!!

Made them from 2024-T3 Aircraft Alloy Aluminum - Billet (solid) - SUPER STRONG! - NOT a casting!

If yours are the same size (No 9), then he already has the blueprints & doesn't need yours. If you are not sure - all you have to do is send them to him, he'll make new ones to match (only his will NEVER rust or corrode), then he'll send the new ones (Polished up Pretty! ;-) ) with your originals back to you!! In fact, Jim is able to do that with ANY rings, pieces parts, etc.

Remember, he is a Custom Specialty Aviation Tool Maker. Heck, Jim and his company A & H MACHINE., INC./Airmark Surfacing Tools(tm) make their OWN pneumatic power units, motors, etc., - COMPLETELY - In-house!!!! He makes all kinds of trick stuff - especially the things you CAN'T find ANYWHERE else!!

In fact - keep an eye on our web site - airmarktools.net - we are in the process right now of completely revamping it. The NEW airmarktools.net should be up and rolling VERY soon. It will also have pics of much of the Hardware, replacement skins, custom accessories, etc., on it!

Tell ya what, I'll give you my word - that as soon as the new site is live for public viewing - ya'll will be the FIRST to be advised! We will be VERY interested in your comments, input, ideas, etc. Ewan, (who happens to be our wonderful web master) and us, are putting a lot of time and energy into this site. We want to make this site, as Ewan described it once, "THE Total Polishing Resource - of the Internet!" As well as one of the MAIN sources for custom Airstream Parts, (i.e., tail light rings, vent covers, etc.)

The wreck he had in California may have taken him TEMPORARILY away from Polishing - but NOW he has even more time to make the custom Airstream Parts for members of our Airstream Family & fellow Airstreamers!!

Any questions - well, ya'll know what we tell ya'll - just ask!!

Later,

Sharon
