Regarding the propane light in some older airstreams. I really like mine. When boondocking, doesn't use any power, and if a bit nippy, adds heat to the room. Cabela's in Nebraska, (do an internet search for address, etc.), sells new lamps, but more importantly, sells the RV style, heavy duty mantles for the light. A coleman lantern mantle will work, but will almost always break when driving. The HD RV mantle from Cabela's will withstand all but bad bumps.
