Jim,

The caps/hood can be replaced. Take the old ones off & send them to me. I'll reform them and send you some new ones.

Next, you need a 6" pump up - type suction cup. (Or vacuum cup.) Grind/Chip - bust up Dry Ice. Put Dry Ice on dent, put suction cup OVER ice - pump it up. Check area in about 10 minutes time.

IF you can do as Charlie suggested and get the skin HOT - put the vacuum cup on it - pump it up to max. and IMMEDIATELY HIT THE RELEASE - Take a look-see. If it did pull it - due the EXACT procedure again at 1 minute intervals. NOTE: Don't worry if you leave the cup on too long. Your not gonna hurt the skin. Suction cup has an air pocket in it and will only suck to original level of skin. Will NOT pull out and beyond the original surface!

NOTE: These cups will hold 200 foot pounds of direct pull weight. We buy ours from McMaster-Carr - Chicago.

This process is used in Aviation on, dings & dents on leading edges.

Another NOTE: This will only work with the inch-or-so (or larger) size dents. Not those little pea size dings. Anything smaller and you will need to go to the inside and push them out.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Jim Weston
