Rich~~you started this line by expressing your fondness for Honda generators, as I recall it. Right? If so, maybe you just want a generator, and only enough to keep your battery charged, run the water pump and Fantastic Fan "a few hours a day" Now, unless you just have a desire for a generator at any cost, one or two solar panels will do all of that. In fact one Solarmetric panel for one battery is all you need because with a fully charged battery you will have enough power to take care of the water pump and FF. Two panels would give you more than enough for even cloudy days when you would be getting some charge anyhow.
