I think your last sentence is at the root of what I would like to do. I would like to hook the generator into the shore power line. This would then operate the converter and charge the battery at the same time. I am not thinking of running the AC. I would like to have enough juice keep the batteries charged. I would be using only the water pump and possibly the fantastic fan a few hours a day.
