Subject: #4397
I recently pulled #4397 from its resting place of 20+ years, it was properly winterized, stored, and unused since 76, and had excellent care prior to that. I have polished it with 3M 1 Step and a Makita Variable Buffing wheel and it came up very well. It does not pass the "Direct Sunlight" test, however. The trailer is located 100 miles east of NYC on LI and quite out of the way for your tours. Any suggestions how I can get it up to snuff?
OK, now you have swirls and haze. You need one (1) pound can of Green Ox Polish, to remove oxidation and one (1) pound can of SuperShine 30 for the High Luster Shine.
Get yourself a THICK Turkish Towel, have someone sew you a lap over seam so you can tie it over the top of your wool pad. Put VERY thin layer of SuperShine on skin, using SLOW RPM - Polish to a Bright Shine.
You need a quart of Sealer to remove residues and to Seal the surface.
Will give DETAILED written instructions on how to use ALL our Products.
Stay away from Silicones!!
